Forklift Operator

This position will pull products according to customer orders and ensure the accuracy of products in an efficient manner.

 Essential Functions of the Position (Responsibilities)

  • Will pull product according to orders for route delivery.

  • Responsible for verifying product lot numbers, quantity and will watch for damaged products.

  • Operate and maintain industrial forklift and handheld scan gun.

  • Will be required to load product evenly in the trailer and ensure a balance of weight

  • Ensure load paperwork is completed neatly and timely.

  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards.

  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.

  • Report any discrepancies to Management.

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

  • Follow and comply with SOP procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate

  • Prior warehouse experience preferred but not required

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Prior forklift experience

  • Attention to detail

  • Mathematical skills
